The lift operates in two stages. First, a powerful gas spring supports the main weight: you hook your bike onto the rubberized mounting hooks, give it a gentle tug, and your bike floats vertically upward into the parking position. Even a heavy e-bike can be parked this way with minimal effort.
Once the bike is up, it’s on to step two: the Twist swivels up to 90° on both sides. You can fold your bike flat against the wall or turn it slightly to the side to get past. The swivel movement can be locked in any position using the tension in the hinge.
Automatic Stroke Protection: Why This Detail Matters
When you hang the bike, the automatic lift safety feature prevents the lever arm from snapping upward uncontrollably. The safety feature engages automatically; you don’t need to flip a switch or activate anything. This protects children who are playing and keeps you safe in case your clothing gets caught.
Workmanship and Material Quality
The frame is made of galvanized steel with a light gray/anthracite powder-coated finish (RAL 9006 & RAL 7016). The combination of galvanization and a UV-resistant powder coating makes the lift highly resistant to moisture and the elements—even when used outdoors. “Made in Germany” stands for manufacturing quality designed for a long service life. The lower tire cradle is height-adjustable and adapts to the length of your bike up to 220 cm.

In the garage, the Twist creates space for both a car and a bike. In the basement, it transforms an unused strip of wall into a neat storage space. And because the structure can easily withstand the elements, it can just as easily be mounted on the wall of a carport or in an open bike shelter.
