This is how
parking works
Parking and unparking your bike with the BicycleJack is very easy. With the Basic, the handling is the same as with the Twist, but without the automatic lift lock (see also the videos under“Twist“). You can find illustrated instructions here.
Parking

Step 01
Hang the front wheel of your bike on the rubberized hook on the lever arm of the BicycleJack (here using the BicycleJack Twist as an example).

Step 02
Unlock the red release button on the central frame of the BicycleJack by pulling it out, turning it 1/8 of a turn and releasing the button. The red release button must stick out. The lift lock is now unlocked.

Step 03
Lift the lever arm together with the front wheel slightly. The gas pressure spring now starts to unfold and pushes the bike upwards. Meanwhile, hold it by the saddle and gently guide it into the parking position (here using the BicycleJack Twist as an example).

Done!
Your bike is waiting for its next use.
Parking

Step 01
Stand sideways behind your bike and grip the steering wheel with one hand and under the saddle of the bike with the other (here using the BicycleJack Twist as an example).

Step 02
Pull the bike backwards into the free space with a little momentum so that the lever arm swings the bike downwards. Then secure the lever arm by pulling out the red locking knob, turning it 1/8 of a turn and then snapping it into place (here using the BicycleJack Twist as an example).

Step 03
Lift the front wheel of your bike out of the hook of the BicycleJack (if you have a handbrake lever for the rear wheel, this is also very easy). Here is an example of the BicycleJack Twist.

Done!
Your bike is ready to be ridden by you.
